Just You And A Coach. Ninety Minutes.
FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE NEVER SURFED. AND PEOPLE WHO WANT TO GET BETTER.
EITHER WAY, YOU PICK WHAT YOU WORK ON.
$141.25. Board included
Same Coaches. Same Wave.
You're not getting a separate lesson crew. You get the people who'd have had you in the surf camp all week. Every one of them is ISA certified and trained as a lifeguard.
Your lesson is on Tamarindo's main break. It's sand on the bottom. The waves come in broken, and that whitewater is the easiest thing there is to learn on.
Why People Book One
You're already here surfing for the week.
You like your group. You just want one session where the coach can lock in on you.
You're staying somewhere else in town.
Show up, surf, get on with your day. You don't have to be a guest here to book a lesson.
You've surfed for years.
You don't need a week of instruction. You want one session on a beach you don't know, with someone who does.
You came with someone who surfs.
You watched them go out every morning and decided you want a go. You don't want to sign up for a whole program, you just want to give it a try.
From People Who Booked A Lesson
"Did a surf lesson here and it was amazing! We had Augusto as an instructor, and he was extremely helpful and a wonderful teacher! All the staff is very kind."
— Julia Moraitis
"My two sons took two classes with them while at Costa Rica and it was great. They were standing after only a few attempts. They liked it so much that we repeated the next day. Instructors fluid in English, very friendly and patient. Highly recommend."
— Milan Sebastian
What It
Costs.
One person — $141.25
Two people — $90.40 each, $180.80 total
Three people — $90.40 each, $271.20 total
Three is the maximum.
Three to a coach is what a beginner group looks like anyway. The difference is you choose who the other two are.
A board comes with it. It's yours for the ninety minutes, not the day.

From Four Up.
Four is the youngest we teach, and we'd only recommend it if your kid already likes being in the ocean. A child who's frightened of water won't get past that in ninety minutes, and a bad first go can put them off surfing for good.
In the surf camp, kids and adults are split. Different coaches, different groups, on purpose, so the adults can concentrate on their own surfing.
On a private lesson you can ask to go in together.
If Ninety Minutes
Isn't Enough.
Some people book one and that's the trip. Some people get out of the water already asking about tomorrow.
If that's you, there are two ways to keep going.
Surf camp days. $200 a person, per day. The surf program without the room, so you can buy as many days as you want.
The camp week. Saturday to Saturday, room included, and you're in a group. Three surfers to a coach if you're a beginner. Sorted by ability and age. Coaches move people up when they're ready.
