NEW 2019 / 2020 Dates | All Women Surf Retreats w/ Andrea Diaz

Shawna Mullen • 18 de julio de 2019

Female surf retreats are here to stay! The girls have been so stoked and showed such enthusiasm these past weeks that we decided to add 6 MORE WEEKS to our All Female Surf Retreats. If you’ve been holding off on your surf trip, now is the time to capitalize on an unforgettable week of surfing with the best female surfer in Costa Rica, Andrea Diaz.

This is way more than a surf holiday. Our all-women retreats are perfect for replenishing your female spirit in a safe environment. You will enjoy surfing with Andrea, yoga classes, massages, girls’ night on the town, and spontaneous non-surfing excursions with your new best friends.

Here is what Krissie P (@phillynerdgirl) had to say about her experience during her July 13 – 2oth retreat. “This was my first time surfing at the tender age of 36. I’m originally from Delaware and have a lot of friends that surf but I never learned myself because I was intimidated. I came with somewhat low expectations that it would take me a whole week to stand up, but Andrea Diaz had me standing up on the first day! I recently lost my husband to cancer last January and learned that like is short. I’ve been trying to do everything that I wished we could have done together and this has been the perfect re-birth into my next chapter of life.”

You don’t paddle out at Ollie’s Point because it’s convenient. You go because when it’s on, it feels like Costa Rica handed you a fast, clean runway and said, “Go.” The catch is that Ollie’s is not a “just show up” wave. It’s a mission – tides, swell direction, wind, boat timing, and a lineup […] The post Ollie’s Point Guided Surf Tour: What to Expect appeared first on Witch's Rock Surf Camp.

The moment that changes everything usually isn’t the first pop-up. It’s the second one – when your kid paddles back out smiling, you’re not checking the clock, and nobody’s hungry, sunburned, or overwhelmed. That’s the real promise behind a family surf trip in Costa Rica: shared wins, low stress, and enough structure that everyone actually […] The post Family Surf Camp in Costa Rica Done Right appeared first on Witch's Rock Surf Camp.

You don’t fly to Costa Rica for “pretty good” waves. If you’re already comfortable in solid surf, the real win is efficiency: paddling out at the right break, at the right tide, with the right board under your feet – and not wasting a single prime window because a road washed out, the wind switched, […] The post Advanced Surf Tours in Costa Rica That Deliver appeared first on Witch's Rock Surf Camp.

You know the feeling – you’re paddling out confidently, catching plenty of waves, and you can even make sections… but your surfing still looks nothing like it feels. In your head, you’re carving. On the wave, you’re kind of surviving. That’s the intermediate plateau, and it’s exactly why intermediate surf coaching with video analysis is […] The post Video Surf Coaching for Intermediates That Works appeared first on Witch's Rock Surf Camp.
