You can paddle out, pick your wave and ride it in. Getting better after that is slower, because you can't see yourself surf and your friends aren't coaches. That's what this week is for. One week with friends is a holiday. One week with a coach is a jump.

What people ask before they book

Am I intermediate or advanced?

If you can paddle out on your own, catch unbroken waves and ride down the line, you're intermediate. Advanced means you're comfortable in overhead surf and looking for better waves rather than coaching. Tell us where you're at when you write in and we'll put you in the right group.

What if the swell is small?

Tamarindo is the base, not the only option. Intermediates travel by van and boat to other breaks, so you're not stuck with whatever's out front.

Will I be stuck with beginners?

No. Groups are by level. If you're stronger than the group you're in, your coach moves you up.

What boards do you have?

A full shop of 300+. Swap as many times as you want at no charge, same day, so you can try a different board every session of the week.

Do I have to come for a full week?

No. A week is what we recommend, and it's what the price above is built on. Come longer or shorter and we'll build it around your dates.
