What solo travelers ask

Will I end up on my own all week?

Only if you want to be. Even then, you're in a group every morning. The van rides, the beach tours and the yoga are all shared. Friday night everyone's in the same room.

Why does it cost more to come alone?

You get your own room and your own bathroom. We don't do dorms and we don't pair you with a stranger. The surfing is the same price either way, so the room is the whole difference. Two people split it and you don't.

I've never surfed. Is this for me?

Yes. Beginners learn out front in waist deep water, three to a coach. Plenty of people book their first lesson ever here and come on their own to do it. Tell us where you're at when you write in and we'll make sure to put you in the right group.

Is Tamarindo safe on my own?

There's 24/7 security on the property, and you can walk into town any time. The beach is the one exception after dark. It's public access with no lights, so people stick to the street. Petty theft is the thing to watch, so don't leave your phone on a towel.

Do I have to come for a full week?

No. A week is what we recommend and it's what the price above is built on. Come longer or shorter and we'll build it around your dates.
